Line Manager: Training Manager
Responsibilities:
• Localize Technical training materials at various levels and conduct training courses for Technicians in Dealers nationwide: new product technical training, accessory installation training, etc.
• Consolidate training reports and generate action plans to further improve Technicians’ skills and service performance to Training Manager.
• Contribute to the Technical Training plan for all dealers on annually, quarterly, and monthly cadences and review with Training Manager.
• Revise Technical materials that are translated by vendors (Repair Manual, Owner Manual, etc.)
• Conduct monthly Service Training Audit for all dealers to ensure SOPs are followed, therefore maintain premium customer experience.
• Manage Service eLearning activities: manage staff database, update and maintain online training materials, send regular online tests to participants, etc.
• Attend training sessions from Regional team and self-study to maintain and update Training capabilities.
• Support the training team and other departments upon request by the Training Manager.
Qualifications:
• University graduate with relevant majors.
• Fluent English written and speaking skills.
• Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
• Preferably having at least 5 years of experience in Automotive in Technical/Service-related fields
- Experience of conducting in-class and online training sessions is an advantage.
• Technical skills:
- CANBUS proficiency
- EV (BEV, PHEV, HEV) Proficiency is an advantage.
- Diagnostic & Troubleshooting Skills
• Effective communication skills: public speaking, presenting, storytelling, leading discussions.
• Good office computing skills, especially engaging PowerPoint presentations and online conference systems.
- Experience in working with web-based Talent Management Systems / Learning Management Systems (e-Learning e.g. moodles, instructure Canvas, SalesForce, TRAK LMS) is an advantage.
• Valid passenger car driving license (B2)
• Other requirements:
- Flexible, curious in nature, eager to learn and apply new skills.
- Able to withstand high pressure Sales related working environments.
- Willing to travel domestically on a regular basis.
